Protective impregnation
Our products are impregnated in order to minimise the capillary porosity that is typical of mineral materials. The surfaces of our products repel water, thus considerably reducing susceptibility to dirt.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is still important to quickly remove contaminants such as wine, coffee, and foliage in order to counteract the slow penetration of particles of dirt. The effectiveness of the protective impregnation will be reduced over time as a result of weather and environmental influences, usage, and cleaning. The impregnation should therefore be repeated every few years. You can use an appropriate product from our cleaning and maintenance range to do this.
